Visa on Arrival (VoA)

Visa on Arrival (VoA) is a type of Visa which allows foreigners to enter Indonesian borders for certain purposes such as tourism, meetings, business, or seminars. It can be obtained upon arrival in the Soekarno Hatta International Airport, Jakarta or Yogyakarta International Airport. The cost of the visa is IDR 500.000 and valid for 30 days upon arrival. VoA can only be granted to foreigners from the 87 countries listed as the subject of Visa on Arrival. To check if your country is listed as the subject of VoA, please access the official website of the Directorate General of Immigration Indonesia through https://www.imigrasi.go.id/wna/daftar-negara-voa-bvk-calling-visa.

Entry requirement for Visa on Arrival:

  1. Passport must be valid more than 6 (six) months as from the date entry into Indonesia
  2. Round trip tickets or return ticket

VISA Exemption

The Government of The Republic of Indonesia has implemented the Visa Exemption for certain purposes which are applicable for passport holders from certain countries.

List of countries and special entities for Visa Exemption Arrangement Facility:

  1. Brunei Darussalam
  2. Malaysia
  3. Thailand
  4. Vietnam
  5. Philipina
  6. Cambodia
  7. Singapore
  8. Myanmar
  9. Laos
  10. Timor Leste

Requirements:

  1. Passport must be valid more than 6 (six) months as from the date entry into Indonesia
  2. Round trip tickets or return ticket
